Drywall · Las Vegas, NV

Drywall repair that disappears.

A patch you can find is a patch that failed. We cut back to solid board, tape, float and match the texture that's already on your wall — knockdown, orange peel, skip trowel or smooth — so the repair reads as wall, not as work.

What we repair

Holes and cracks

Doorknob punches, anchor blowouts, settling cracks above door frames. Cut back to solid board, patched and feathered wide enough that the light doesn't catch the edge.

Water damage

The failed board comes out. We look at what caused it with you before anything gets closed up — a patch over an active leak is a repair you pay for twice.

Ceilings

The hardest surface to hide a repair on, and the one people look at from every angle. Priced on its own line because it takes longer and it shows more.

Texture matching

Knockdown, orange peel, skip trowel, smooth. We match what's on your wall — not whatever the sprayer happens to be loaded with.

Level 5 finish

The flat, glass-smooth finish that dark paint and raking window light demand. Anything less and every seam turns into a shadow at 5pm.

Paint touch-up

Optional and priced separately: we blend the repaired area back into the existing color so you're not left with a patch that's technically perfect and visibly newer.

What it costs

Real numbers from our price list, not a range invented to get you on the phone. Residential visits carry a $200 labor minimum — individual prices still apply, the minimum is a floor on the visit total, never an extra charge on top.

The prices shown are estimated and intended as a general pricing guide. Some services are listed as 'Starting At' because every project is different. Final pricing depends on the size of the project, accessibility, materials, and existing conditions. All estimates assume a standard repair or replacement with no hidden damage or unforeseen issues. If additional work is required, we will discuss it with you and obtain approval before proceeding.

How it works

01

Send a photo

Through the form below or on WhatsApp. Most drywall work can be sized from a picture, which means you get a number without anyone driving out.

02

Get the estimate

Free and in writing. If the job genuinely has to be seen in person, an on-site estimate is $150 — and we tell you that before we come, not after.

03

We repair and match

Cut, tape, float, sand, texture. Drop cloths down before the first cut, debris leaves with us. If the texture needs a second pass to match, it gets a second pass.

Where we work

Questions people actually ask

How much does drywall repair cost in Las Vegas?

A small patch starts at $150 in labor, a medium repair at $350, and large or water-damaged sections at $450. Ceilings are their own line at $299 because they take longer. Residential visits have a $200 labor minimum, so a single small patch on its own bills at $200. Every figure is a starting point — the final number depends on size, access and what we find behind the board, and it's confirmed in your written estimate before any work begins.

Can you match my ceiling texture?

That's the part we plan the job around. Knockdown, orange peel, skip trowel and smooth are all routine. Send a close-up photo with the estimate request and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a clean match or a blend — some hand-applied textures from the eighties can only be blended, and you should hear that before we start, not after.

Do I need a licensed contractor for drywall repair?

Ideal Handyman LLC is a Nevada registered and insured handyman and property maintenance company. We're currently pursuing additional contractor licensing, and we'll review your project to tell you whether it falls within handyman services or genuinely needs a licensed contractor. If it's the second one, we say so — that's a shorter conversation than the alternative.

How long does a drywall repair take?

It depends on the size and on drying time: joint compound has to dry between passes, and texture needs to be dry before paint. A small patch is usually a single visit; a large water-damaged section or a Level 5 finish is normally more than one. You get the timeline with the written estimate, before you commit to anything.

Do you paint after the repair?

Yes, as a separate line item. Paint touch-up starts at $150 in labor. We can also paint the full wall or the whole room if the existing color has faded enough that a touch-up would show — we'll tell you which one your wall needs when we look at it.
